The Cleveland Cavaliers will open the playoffs against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, Oct. 23. The Cavs finished the regular season with a 50-32 record, good for the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.
The Hawks finished the regular season with a 43-39 record, good for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference. This will be the first time that the Cavs and Hawks have met in the playoffs since 2016. The Cavs won that series 4-0.
